Michael Fryar received
his Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill and his Dual Master’s of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling
and Vocational Evaluation from East Carolina University. Mr. Fryar obtained
his Associate of Science in Nursing (RN Track) from Sampson Community
College. He has also completed the Kaplan program for Life Care Planning.
Active certifications and licenses include: Certified Rehabilitation
Counselor (CRC), Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE), Certified Case
Manager (CCM), Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS)
and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP). Mr. Fryar has been a case
manager/consultant for workers’ compensation, long-term disability and the
veteran’s administration since 2000. He has worked in the states of North
Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. He is recognized as a Qualified
Rehabilitation Professional (QRP) through the North Carolina Industrial
Commission. Mr. Fryar continues to work as a charge/staff rehabilitation
nurse for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center within the acquired
brain injury and general rehabilitation units. |
