Prior to joining CCM, Cindy’s most recent experience was in acute care case management, utilization review and discharge planning.

She received her Practical Nurse Education diploma from Central Carolina Community College in 1972 and her ADN from Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, North Carolina in 1976. Donna obtained her BSN from California State University Dominquez Hills, California in 1996, and her MS in Healthcare Planning. She has been certified as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) since 1984. She has contributed to texts on the Practice of Rehabilitation Nursing. Her experience in rehabilitation has been focused on catastrophic injuries, chronic illness, and disability. Her skills as an expert on quality and standard of care issues in rehabilitation nursing have been sought by both defense and plaintiff attorneys. She has spoken locally, regionally, and nationally on topics in rehabilitation nursing. Donna has served in elected positions in the Greater North Carolina Chapter of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, and as Regional Director for the National Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. Donna is the currently President Elect for the National Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and will installed in October 2008 as President of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.
