Betsy Mapes

Customer Account Representative

(Charlotte, NC)

Betsy earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from Appalachian State University in 1988. She worked in the insurance industry as a claims professional handling workers’ compensation and liability cases for five years. In 1993 she began her career in sales and marketing.  She has experience in sales and customer service for medical and vocational case management services, bill review, PPO networks, pharmacy benefit management programs, Medicare Set Asides, Life care plans, and cost containment strategies for insurance carriers, TPA’s and employers. She has also worked as a claims liaison for an insurance broker, and a manager of vendor relationships. Betsy joined CCM in 2008 and again in 2011. She has served on the NC Kids Chance committee, The South Carolina Medical Conference committee, Palmetto RIMS planning committee, and is a board member of The New Leaf Foundation.  Betsy and her husband, Chris, live in Charlotte with Betsy’s two children, Philip and Evan.
