Jennifer attended Appalachian State University and graduated in 1996 with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She was a classroom teacher for three years and then decided to pursue the insurance industry. She worked for State Farm for four years and currently holds insurance licenses in property/liability, life/health, and long term care. Since 2002, Jennifer has been working as a Job Developer/ Case Manager with Carolina Case Management. She has been a field case manager since 2008 and is certified as a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS). Jennifer feels proactive case management is a necessity. She tries to get her clients involved in volunteering, computer classes, or other training to keep their mind stimulated and take the focus off the injury. She also builds rapport with her clients to foster the client/ case manager relationship.
