Renee graduated as a licensed practical nurse from Montgomery Community College in Troy, NC in 1992. She began her career as a medical/surgical nurse at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. She worked for one year, then went to work as a geriatric nurse at PineLake Health and Rehab Center in Carthage, NC. She then began her career as an occupational health nurse at Perdue Inc. in Robbins, NC, meanwhile attending Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC, where she graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1996. Renee continued to advance her knowledge in nursing and worked as a hemodialysis nurse for one year. She went to work for Townsends, Inc. as an occupational Health Nurse in 1998. Renee has been working with injured workers since 1998. Most of her experience has been as an occupational health nurse working first hand with the injured workers from the employer’s aspect. Renee has been a Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) since 2001 and a Certified Case Manager (CCM) since 2006. She joined Carolina Case Management in 2009.
