Rob earned his nursing degree from Amarillo College in 1992. Following graduation he was a critical care nurse with a special focus on Neuro Trauma. He has also spent time as a hospice nurse earning certification as a CHPN during this period of his career. Since 2001 Rob has been working in the Case Management department at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. From 2005 until 2008 Rob was the Manager for Case Management Services. In this last role he supervised a team of professional Acute Care Case Managers performing utilization review, discharge planning and documentation improvement. Rob and his family relocated to North Carolina at the end of 2008.
