Susan Byers graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte, NC in 1974. Since graduation she has worked in hospitals both in the USA and abroad, in nursing homes, and in home health agencies. She has held positions from Staff Nurse to Director of Nursing with administrative responsibility for as many as 75 staff and 170 patients. Her hospital experience includes work with medical and surgical patients and in labor and delivery for many years. Susan has a total of 6 years teaching experience at the college level and served in the Army Reserves for 12 years. Susan began at Carolina Case Management in 2000 and became a Certified Case Manager in 2003.
