Most of Tammy’s experience has been in Occupational Health. She worked for a textile/manufacturing company for 16 years as the Occupational Health Nurse Manager/Safety Manager before her employment with CCM. Her areas of expertise include injury/illness prevention; workers’ compensation claims management; and health promotion programs. She graduated from nursing school with an Associate degree in Nursing in 1990. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2004 from Winston-Salem State University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing with concentration in Healthcare Leadership/Management in 2007 from Duke University. She has been with CCM since 2007 and is a certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist. She is an active member of the North Carolina Occupational Health Nurses Association.
