Omega graduated from Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, NC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She worked 2 years as an Eligibility Specialist with Department of Social Services and for 14 years as a Child Support Enforcement Agent with N.C. Department of Human Resources. Transitioning to the field of vocational rehabilitation, Omega was employed as a vocational specialist where she has worked for the past 15 years. She holds national certifications as a Certified Career Assessment Associate (CCAA) and a Certified Disability Management Specialist, and is experienced in the areas of job placement, case management, job site evaluation, job seeking skills training, job analyses and vocational counseling.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in 1996. She was a classroom teacher for three years and then decided to pursue a different career path. She currently holds North Carolina insurance licenses in property/liability, life/health, and long term care. Jennifer started working in the vocational rehabilitation field with Carolina Case Management in 2002. She began working as a case manger in 2007, and earned her certification as a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) in 2011. She specializes in job development and consulting. She is a member of the International association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).
Shelley joined Carolina Case Management in 1999. She is a Return to Work Specialist and the developer of the CCM digital job analysis. She regularly provides presentations on how to address return to work challenges to employers, carriers, safety groups and rehab committees. She also provides in-house training seminars and webinars for Carolina Case Management. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in and a Master’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University in 1992. She has been working since 1992 providing vocational rehabilitation services both in the private and public sectors in Western North Carolina. She is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
Vanessa has over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation services in both the private and public sectors. Vanessa received her undergraduate degree from UNC-Greensboro in recreation and leisure studies. She received her graduate degree from the University of North Texas in rehabilitation services with a concentration in rehabilitation counseling. Vanessa is a certified rehabilitation counselor. Vanessa enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She has been married for 33 years to her husband, Ronald, and they have three adult children and four grandchildren.
David received his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He has also obtained his national certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). David has over 30 years of experience in medical and vocational case management. He worked for four years with State VR and with the Rehab Center in Charlotte for four years. He joined CCM in 2003. He is a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. David is a former member of the North Carolina Industrial Commission Rehabilitation Advisory Committee.
Courtney earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation from Florida State University in 1994. She has obtained her national certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Courtney started working in the field of vocational rehabilitation in 1996 in the private sector and has also worked with the NC Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. She is experienced in the areas of case management, job seeking skills training, job analysis, vocational counseling, vocational testing and expert witness testimony.
Becky is a Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) and has been employed in the rehabilitation field since 1983. She received her Master of Arts in Agency Counseling from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor’s in Education from Western Carolina University. Prior to working in private rehabilitation, she worked for eleven years in state funded agencies and Goodwill Industries providing work adjustment, vocational evaluation and program management services. Since 1994 she has worked in the private sector as a vocational specialist providing evaluation, job analysis, occupational exploration, labor market surveys and general return-to-work services. She has been with CCM since 2006. Becky completed a five course program in case management for the Elderly in 2004 and works occasionally as an Elder Care Manager, assisting the families in determining needs and locating services. Becky lives in Matthews, NC and serves Charlotte and the surrounding area.
Central-Eastern North Carolina
Rachel has extensive in case management, having begun her career in 1994 and joining Carolina Case Management in 2001. She earned a BS degree in Social Work from East Carolina University and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from ECU. Rachel holds the title of CRC and has provided expert testimony for workers’ compensation cases and ADA cases. Rachel has worked for various customers such as VA, WC carriers, LTD carriers and both plaintiff and defense attorneys. A counseling background enables Rachel to effectively work with those who have endured trauma, have psychological issues and/or substance abuse problems. Rachel has undergone training in literacy tutoring and is able to work with clients who are lacking reading skills. Rachel is a member of the North Carolina Rehabilitation Counseling Association.
Kim received her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation from East Carolina University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with over ten years experience in the private sector. Prior to working in the private sector Kim worked for State Vocational Rehabilitation assisting individuals with disabilities in job placement as well as working on job seeking skills. Kim began working in the private sector in 2001, the same year joining Carolina Case Management. She has extensive experience in conducting labor market surveys, serving as an expert witness, providing vocational assessments/job placements, job analysis, and vocational case management. Professional affiliations include membership in the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association (NRCA) and International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP). Kim has served as Treasure and is past President of NRCA. Kim and her husband Brandon live in Elm City with their son Mason and daughter Brilee.

Pam earned a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology at Appalachian State University in 1982. She was employed by the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for ten years in various capacities before entering private sector vocational rehabilitation in 1993. Pam began working with Carolina Case Management in 1996. She has extensive experience in conducting labor market surveys, locating community resources, serving as an expert witness, providing vocational assessments/job placements, and vocational case management. She is a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP). In 2003 and 2004 she served on the faculty of Wake AHEC, teaching the Rehabilitation Services portion of the CCM Prep Course. Pam has completed Graduate Certificate Programs in Gerentology (2004) and Substance Abuse & Addictions Counseling (2011).
Scott has been a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) since 1996, with a Bachelor’s degree from N.C. State University and Master’s coursework in Counseling Education-Vocational Testing. He has been providing medical and vocational case management services in central and eastern North Carolina in the private rehabilitation sector since 1991, and has been with CCM since 2006. He has four years of experience as a supervisor in vocational rehabilitation. He worked with state referred vocational rehabilitation clients for three years in a private non-profit company. He has experience providing services in Worker’s Compensation, Long Term Disability, and with the Veterans Affairs programs. Other training includes certification to provide Vocational Evaluations to adult brain injured individuals, and experience conducting Ergonomic Evaluations for office and industrial workers. Some of the service areas he provides include- Vocational Evaluation, Vocational Counseling, Job Seeking and Preparation Skills, Job Placement, Labor Market Surveys, and Job Training coordination.
Barbara earned a Bachelor's degree from Skidmore College, majoring in Sociology. She then received a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1991. She has worked in the private sector since 1991 specializing in Vocational Rehabilitation. Barbara is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), a North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Qualified Rehabilitation Provider (QRP) in Virginia. In addition to providing vocational rehabilitation services, she markets vocational assessment and vocational services to divorce attorneys. Barbara is also an expert in vocational testimony. She is also active in the NC Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).
Leslie graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1991 with a BA. She then received a Master’s degree in 1994 in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation from East Carolina University. Leslie began working in private rehabilitation and has experience in the areas of work hardening, vocational evaluation, job placement, case management, job site evaluation and vocational counseling. Leslie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and is a member of the International Association of Rehab Professionals (IARP) and the Carolina Chapter of Rehab Professionals.
