Betsy Mapes, BSBA

Betsy earned her Degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University in 1988. She worked in the insurance industry in Charlotte as a claims professional handling Workers’ Compensation and liability cases for five years. In 1993 she began her career in sales and marketing. She has experience in sales, customer service, business development, and account management for medical and vocational case management services, bill review, PPO networks, pharmacy benefit management programs, medical cost projections, and various cost containment strategies for insurance carriers, TPA’s and employers. She has also worked as a claims liaison for an insurance agency and as a manager of vendor relationships. Betsy joined CCM in 2008 and again in 2011. Betsy serves as President of Kids Chance of South Carolina, is a Board Member of the SCWCEA (South Carolina Workers Compensation Educational Association), and is a member of the South Carolina Employers Advocacy Association. Betsy and her husband Chris live in Charlotte, NC.
