Angela Smith – Administrative Assistant

Angela is an experienced Administrative Assistant with 28+ years of experience in the workers’ compensation field. She earned an Associate Degree in Office Administration from Fanshawe College in Ontario, Canada in 1998. After completing her education, Angela moved to North Carolina to be closer to family and began her career with Concentra Managed Care, where she worked for three years before joining Carolina Case Management in 2001. Throughout her long tenure, she has provided consistent administrative support within workers’ compensation, contributing to efficient office operations and case management workflows. Angela is known for her reliability, organization, and long-standing commitment to her role. Outside of work, she lives in Raleigh with her two cats, Willy and Brindy, named after former Carolina Hurricanes players. She enjoys reading, swimming, dining out, watching true crime television, and is a devoted Carolina Hurricanes fan who never misses a game.
