Meet our marketing team

Kara received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina in 1995. She began in the field of vocational rehabilitation in 1995, with a concentration in placement. Kara joined CCM in 1999. She works closely with the Workers’ Compensation industry, providing outstanding customer service in her marketing role. She currently serves as Secretary on the Kid’s Chance of NC Board and is President of the Gaston County Safety, Health and Environmental Association. Kara and her husband, Keith, live in Gastonia with their daughter, Rebecca and son, Aiden.

Josh received his Bachelor’s Degree from NC State University, where he pursued a double major in Communications and Film. He worked as a video editor for a private investigations company before coming to work for CCM in 2013. In his spare time, Josh enjoys cooking, brewing his own beer, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Julie Abee is a dedicated professional with over 5 years of experience in the workers’ compensation industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated expertise in customer service contributing to positive outcomes for both injured workers and employers. Julie is known for her strategic leadership, proactive approach to overcome challenges, and commitment to advancing industry best practices. Her collaborative spirit and active involvement in industry associations with Western Carolina RIMS, 2024 Southeast RIMS Conference Committee, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 2024 Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser Team, and Risk Warriors for Remissions, underscore her passion for driving positive change and improving outcomes in workers’ compensation industry. Julie and her husband James live in Charlotte, NC with their 3 children, Gia, Ella, and JP. When Julie isn’t working, she enjoys holiday decorating and crafting.
