Mark earned a BA degree in Business Economics from North Carolina State University in 1985. His employment history includes eight years in personal and business financial consulting with a financial securities firm and three years in departmental supervision and management at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. As Vice President of Marketing, Mark now works closely with the rehabilitation community to ensure quality case management services and unsurpassed customer satisfaction. Mark and his wife, Carla, live in Wake Forest with their three children, Patrick, Caroline and Sydney.
Kara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina in 1995. She began in the field of vocational rehabilitation in 1995, with a concentration in placement. Kara joined CCM in 1999. She works closely with the Workers’ Compensation industry, providing outstanding customer service in her marketing role. Kara and her husband, Keith, live in Gastonia with their daughter, Rebecca and son, Aiden.
Betsy earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from Appalachian State University in 1988. She worked in the insurance industry as a claims professional handling workers’ compensation and liability cases for five years. In 1993 she began her career in sales and marketing. She has experience in sales and customer service for medical and vocational case management services, bill review, PPO networks, pharmacy benefit management programs, Medicare Set Asides, Life care plans, and cost containment strategies for insurance carriers, TPA’s and employers. She has also worked as a claims liaison for an insurance broker, and a manager of vendor relationships. Betsy joined CCM in 2008 and again in 2011. She has served on the NC Kids Chance committee, The South Carolina Medical Conference committee, Palmetto RIMS planning committee, and is a board member of The New Leaf Foundation. Betsy and her husband, Chris, live in Charlotte with Betsy’s two children, Philip and Evan.
