Carol began her career in the medical field in 1985 as a nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility and as a private duty aide. She attended Riverside Regional Medical Center’s School of Practical Nursing and graduated in 1999. She practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 18 years and obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Durham Technical Community College in 2017. Her nursing background includes med-surg step down, home health and hospice, long term acute care, Care Coordinator for an assisted living facility, family practice, utilization review, and emergency / trauma. She transitioned to case management in 2022 and joined Carolina Case Management in 2023.
