Christie earned her Associate Degree in Nursing at Wake Technical Community College in 1996. Christie has worked in numerous medical fields including 3 years in an OBGYN setting, 2 years in a primary care setting, and 3 years in geriatric nursing. Christie was a volunteer for Apex EMS for 7 years. Christie was also licensed as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist where she worked in a PT clinic for over 5 years treating many patients with work related injuries. Christie is now a Certified Nurse Case Manager and has been employed with Carolina Case Management since 2012.
