Eva is a Greenville native and obtained her nursing degree from Clemson University in August of 1996. She was hired directly into Medical surgical ICU at Greenville Memorial Hospital in 1997 and later transitioned in to Neuro Trauma ICU. After leaving critical care nursing, Eva spent the next 20 years of her career as a Home Health case manager for both Interim Healthcare and Prisma Home Health. She provided direct patient care in the home setting such as assessment of all systems, IV therapy, enteral feedings, and specialized wound care. She educated patients, families, and caregivers on specific disease processes such as CHF, COPD, Diabetes, medication management, and home safety. She worked directly with PT, OT, ST, and MSW and was responsible for coordinating the care between all disciplines. Eva was a preceptor to new hire RN Case Managers and nursing students. Eva joined Carolina Case Management in 2024. She lives in downtown Greenville with her husband Rob. They enjoy spending time with their four adult daughters and their grandson who was born in 2022.
