Joan earned her Nursing degree from Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, SC in 1992. Her clinical experience includes Oncology, Medical-Surgical, Hospice, Home Health, Occupational Health and Discharge Planning. She has 21 years of experience in Workers' Compensation case management. She also has 7 years of experience in discharge planning for a large trauma center. Joan has been a Certified Case Manager since 2005 and is licensed in SC, a member of the Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact. She is also registered with the NC Industrial Commission and the State Board of Workers' Compensation in GA. Joan joined Carolina Case Management in 2021.
