Karen received her Nursing Degree from Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville, NC. After working in acute care settings of Emergency, PACU, and Radiology for 18 years, Karen became office manager and lead nurse in an occupational health and urgent care clinic. Clinical connections lead to a great career in case management. Karen’s career in case management began in 2006 as a field case manager and she obtained her certification in 2009. Karen has also worked as hospital case manager and utilization review. Karen has been with Carolina Case Management since 2012 and she joined the telephonic team in 2014. She is proud to be a part of such a strong, cohesive, and professional team. Karen’s personal interests include gardening and enjoying all the beauty and wonderful things the Great Smokey Mountains have to offer.
