Kayla began her career in healthcare in 2009, working at a long-term care facility while completing and receiving her ADN at Midlands Technical College in 2016. She worked in Med-Surg nursing for 3 years before transitioning to clinic nursing for the next 4 years, working in women's health and primary care settings. In 2023, she began working as a field case manager, joining Carolina Case Management in 2025. She is married and has 1 child. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and baking.
