Kim received her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation from East Carolina University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE), and Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) with over twenty years’ experience in the private sector. Prior to working in the private sector Kim worked for State Vocational Rehabilitation assisting individuals with disabilities in job placement as well as working on job seeking skills. Kim joined Carolina Case Management in 2001. She has extensive experience in conducting labor market surveys, vocational assessments, job analysis, providing vocational case management/job placement, serving as an expert witness, and conducting earning capacity evaluations for family law litigation and independent vocational assessments for Social Security. Professional affiliations include membership in the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association (NRCA), International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) and she is an Associate member of The American Board of Vocational Experts (ABVE). Kim has served as Treasurer and is past President of National Rehabilitation Counseling Association (NRCA). She is the current secretary for IARP of the Carolinas’ and participates on the Conference Planning Committee. Kim and her husband Brandon live in Elm City with their son Mason and daughter Brilee.
