Marti attended Peace College in Raleigh, NC and moved on to receive her Associate Degree in Nursing from Nash Community College in 2006. She has obtained certifications in infection control as well as wound care. Her nursing background includes intraoperative nursing, critical care, home health, infusion therapy, rehabilitation and long-term care and served in a Director of Nursing role. Her most recent experience is in case management, utilization management, and utilization review for Medicare members receiving rehabilitation services. She joined Carolina Case Management in 2022.
