Melissa Schappell earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Reading Area Community College in Reading, PA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Penn State University. Her experience includes telemetry, orthopedics, emergency department, home health, geriatric psych, MICU, SICU, PACU, and PTCA recovery. For the 9 years prior to joining the team at CCM, she worked as a field nurse in the workers’ compensation industry. Melissa had the opportunity to live in many different states over the course of her career including Pennsylvania, Texas, Arizona, New York, New Mexico, Virginia, and now, West Virginia. In her spare time, she likes to travel and spend time with her husband and two sons.
