Melissa obtained her Nursing Degree from Southwestern Community College with an Associate of Applied Science. After graduating, she became a MDS (Minimum Data Set) coordinator for 10 years with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, specializing in patient care and discharge planning, as well as, meeting all federal and state guidelines. She then became a Home Health
nurse supervisor with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians for 5 years. Melissa recently moved to the Leicester area from Cherokee, NC and was working Home Health as a clinical nurse manager, until joining our team at Carolina Case Management in 2025. When she is not working, she enjoys being with her family and attending her church functions.
