Michelle received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas in 1984. She has extensive nursing experience and has worked in both in and outpatient settings. Her experience has been in surgical intensive care/trauma, cardiology/telemetry, internal medicine, family medicine, endocrinology, orthopaedics, emergency room nursing (trauma) gastroenterology, intravenous therapy/code team, teaching and occupational health. Michelle began working as a Workers’ Compensation case manager in 2009 and is a certified nurse case manager and a senior nurse case manager. She joined Carolina Case Management in 2012 and is bilingual in Spanish.
