Sarah graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2013 with her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She also holds a BS in Health Sciences from Clemson University. Sarah's background is in surgical nursing and she began her career as an OR circulator and scrub nurse in the Main OR at MUSC, specializing in neurosurgery. After this, she worked in the OR at a women's hospital in San Diego, CA. Sarah then moved to Beaufort, SC where she worked as an OR nurse, served as a Surgical Specialty Service Line Leader, and gained CNOR certification. Following a move closer to home, Sarah has spent a year working in the OR at a surgery center in Charlotte. She then joined CCM in 2024 and was excited to enter the field of case management! Her clinical experiences offer a strength in patient advocacy and healthcare navigation.
