Susan Breedlove, RN, CCM – Supervisor

Susan serves as a Case Manager Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation case management. She specializes in traumatic injuries, ocular injuries, orthopedic conditions, and surgical care coordination. Susan is a former NC Nurse Scholar recipient and began her clinical career in critical care, with a primary focus in emergency nursing. Throughout her career in workers’ compensation, she has held multiple leadership roles, including team lead of a Utilization Review department, developer of a telephonic case management program, supervisor of medical bill review, physician credentialing, and contributor to computer program design initiatives. She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and maintains certifications including CCM, TNCC, ACLS, and CAT CM. Susan specializes in high-acuity and complex injury case management, as well as program development and team leadership within utilization and case management services. She is committed to empowering staff, fostering professional growth, and promoting a culture of accountability, support, and compassion in daily practice. Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, painting, genealogical research, membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), public speaking, and travel.
